As for Tonal Class, Benson (1964) classifies this term into Class 2 with a disyllabic stem, together with kĩgunyũ, njagĩ, kiugũ, and so on. And also into “Class 4” with kĩng'ang'i, ngũkũ, kĩeha, etc.
