Affixed manca- +‎ negara, from Javanese ꦩꦚ꧀ꦕꦤꦒꦫ (mancanagara, outer provinces; overseas), from Old Javanese mañcanagara, from Sanskrit मञ्च (mañca, throne) +‎ नगर (nagara, town, city).
