  1. (UK, historical) The English slang once used by medical students in London hospitals, involving deliberate spoonerisms.
    • 1898, The Pedagogical Seminary, volume 5, page 375:
      Their form is like the "Medical Greek" of London medical students, who "poke a smipe" instead of smoking a pipe, and take a "stint of pout" for a pint of stout.
