New Tribes oomomö

Etymology[edit]

From öt- (intransitivizer) +‎ emomü (to put in). Cáceres, however, records the resulting verb as patientive, whereas an agentive verb would be expected to result from such a construction.

Pronunciation[edit]

Verb[edit]

oomomü (intransitive, patientive)

  1. to enter, to get in
  2. to sink (into the water)
