opportunity class (plural opportunity classes)

  1. (Australia, education) A separate primary-school class for teaching gifted children.
  2. (historical, education) A separate class for teaching backward children.

      Opportunity classes. — These are classes for retarded overgrown pupils. Many of these children come to our city from rural areas where their education has been irregular.
