ringneck dove (plural ringneck doves)

  1. A domesticated dove with an unclear taxonomic classification, often treated as its own species as, Streptopelia risoria. Other sources place it in a subspecies of either Streptopelia decaocto (Eurasian collared dove), or Streptopelia roseogrisea (African collared dove).
