snow cream (usually uncountable, plural snow creams)

  1. A dessert made by mixing clean, fresh snow with a small amount of milk or cream and flavouring agents such as vanilla and sugar, causing the snow to melt and congeal into an ice-cream-like substance.
  2. A dessert made by mixing cream, rosewater and sugar, and sometimes other flavouring agents, such as clove or ginger, and whipping the mixture until it is stiff and resembles snow.
