  1. Approaching starvation, emaciated and malnourished.
  2. (by extension) Deprived of nourishment or of something vital.
  3. (colloquial, hyperbolic, emphatic) Extremely hungry.
    I'm starved! I haven't eaten since breakfast.

      She said: "I'm starved. I could eat a horse." I told her she was lying, because I had once eaten horse.
