subnumber (plural subnumbers)

  1. A subsidiary or secondary number, in a system of numbering.

      The consequence of using subnumbers is that you cannot deactivate the main asset until all subnumbers have been deactivated. In the transactions for selling or scrapping assets, you have the option to select all subnumbers.
