Ye'kwana[edit]

Alternative forms[edit]

Etymology[edit]

Apparently from t- -e (adverbializer) +‎ awaana (to dawn), although the final vowel in such a construction would be expected to be *a rather than *e.

Pronunciation[edit]

Adverb[edit]

tawane

  1. (Caura River dialect) being bright, shining, luminous
