telesync (plural telesyncs)

  1. A bootlegged video copy of a movie, shot in a movie theater, often with a professional camera on a tripod in the projection booth, and with a direct connection to the sound source.

Usage notes[edit]

  • When bootlegged films are distributed over computer networks, telesync is often indicated by TS in the filename.
