Inherited from Sanskrit स्तुति (stutí). Cognate with Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀣𑀼𑀤𑀺 (thudi), Maharastri Prakrit 𑀣𑀼𑀇 (thui), Gandhari 𐨯𐨿𐨟𐨂𐨡𐨁 (studi).
