  1. (of birds, rare) Lacking flight feathers, typically due to immaturity (compare flightless)
    This breed of canary is unflighted for the first six months of its life.
  2. Lacking flights (arrows, a screw thread, etc.).
    Unflighted darts have a tendency to tumble.
