From utsatt (“vulnerable”) and område (“area”).
Noun[edit]
- (a status granted by the police) a city district with low socioeconomic status and where criminals affect the local community; an area which receives increased attention by law enforcements
Usage notes[edit]
This is the lowest level. Above that is a riskområde (“risk area”), an area which risks developing further into a särskilt utsatt område (“especially vulnerable area”).
