Literally, “May you be pleased”.

ܗܵܘܹܝܬ ܒܲܣܝܼܡܵܐ • (hāwēt basīmā)
- I appreciate it, thank you, thanks (to a man)
- ܬܵܘܕܝܼ، ܗܵܘܹܝܬ ܒܲܣܝܼܡܵܐ ܪܵܒܵܐ!
- tāwdī, hāwēt basīmā rābā!
- Thank you, I appreciate it a lot!
- (literally, “Thank you, may you be very pleased!”)
Usage notes[edit]
- This is used when said to a single male; the feminine singular is ܗܵܘܝܵܬܝ ܒܲܣܝܼܡܬܵܐ (hāwyāt basīmtā), and the plural is ܗܵܘܹܝܬܘܿܢ ܒܲܣܝܼܡܹ̈ܐ (hāwētōn basīmē).
