Phrase[edit]
Kiong Hee Huat Tsai (Baybayin spelling ᜃᜒᜌᜓᜅ᜔ ᜑᜒ ᜑᜓᜏᜆ᜔ ᜆ᜔ᜐᜌ᜔)
- Happy Chinese New Year
- Synonym: Kung Hey Fat Tsoy
Usage notes[edit]
- Some Chinese Filipinos recommend the usage of Kiong Hee Huat Tsai more than Kung Hey Fat Tsoy, despite historical 20th century prevalence of the latter, as majority of Chinese Filipinos in the Philippines speak or have Hokkien as their heritage language, rather than Cantonese.
