@Wyang: I am a bit confused over how English seems to distinguish Avalokiteshvara and Guan Yin, but East Asian languages have combined them to some degree. Could you add the translations here in Chinese, Vietnamese etc that refer to the original male bodhisattva specifically? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 21:40, 17 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Metaknowledge: there is an English entry for Guanyin though. Even though Wyang has left the Wiktionary, this would still cause for concern for conflation. Move the Guanyin translations to the proper entry? ~ POKéTalker00:19, 15 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
