Vietnamese. Tagged two years ago with reason: “Very rare actually, no one would probably understand if you use this word in real life. Texual evidence is also very limited (none from Wikisource, none from Nomfoundation, no example actually in Vietnamese from HVdic, so it's probably not obsolete because it was never used), all I've got are a couple of examples from Buddhist texts. Is this for sure not another case of "a Chinese word with Sino-Vietnamese pronunciation is a Vietnamese word"?”.
I found several instances where the word is actually used, some by people I’d expect to know what they’re doing. It seems it’s all translations from Chinese (and one from Japanese), though, but that by itself is no reason for deletion, is it? There’s this, this (but I can’t really figure out who wrote that sentence), and there’s a poem by Hồ Chí Minh commonly translated as Vui nghe Người bơi thỏa Trường Giang / Quần chúng mừng Người được kiện khang / Tôi ở Việt Nam lo đánh Mỹ / Xa chúc Người vạn thọ vô cương. I don’t know if the translation is by Hồ Chí Minh’s own hand or by someone else, though. MuDavid 栘𩿠 (talk) 03:12, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
