From Blend of àbọ (“sacrifice”) + rú (“to make a sacrifice”) + àbọ (“sacrifice”) + yè (“to live”) + àbọ (“sacrifice”) + ṣíṣẹ (“to work”), literally “May our sacrifice be successful and bring life, may our sacrifice do what it was intended to do”.
