first angle projection (countable and uncountable, plural first angle projections) (engineering)

  1. (uncountable) A method of technical drawing where the front view of the object is placed in the first quadrant, the side view is to the left, and the top view is below it. (More common in Europe and Asia.)
  2. (countable) A drawing produced in this style.
