- Holong do rohangku di ho.
- I love you.
Usage notes[edit]
Like most Toba Batak verbs describing emotions, it takes the noun roha 'mind; feeling; disposition' as subject which itself is modified by the experiencer of the emotion as a possessor (e.g. rohangku 'my mind' in the usage example).
