Etymology[edit]
From ḥnꜥ + ntf and similarly + nts, + ntk, + ntṯ, etc., with the final sound in each case reinterpreted as the corresponding suffix pronoun (thus -f in ḥnꜥ ntf as suffixal .f) and so treated separately.
